Troubleshooting Import Errors
Errors can occur while previewing or finalising an import. Here's how you can manage them:
Preview Errors
When previewing an import based on how you configure your store, errors can occur (e.g. there is an option to show an error if the product SKU does not exist). An error can also occur if the item was already imported.
Solution
Make updates to the accounting software based on the details provided in the error message
Update the store configuration by using the “Edit Settings” option
Import Errors
While syncing the data to the accounting software, errors can occur (e.g., the accounting software could not respond, or the configuration causes an error on import). When errors occur during the import
The import stops on that item that was being imported. The remaining items will be pending and the import will be pending as well
An error related to that item is shown describing the issue
. An option to retry is shown
Solution
You can wait a bit and retry importing the item
This is recommended if there is a time-out issue communicating with the accounting software
If the error indicates that some destination account is incorrect, you can confirm that the store settings are correct
Another option is to cancel the import. This will reverse all changes that were already synced to the accounting software
